Pickstock is a quality supplier of assured British beef products to retailers, butchers and food service professionals across Europe. We’re a family run business with a reputation that’s built on quality, consistency and efficiency, all backed up with over 40 years of farming heritage and experience in the beef industry.
John Pickstock
Responsible for the procurement of livestock, John Pickstock brings over 50 years of invaluable experience to the business.
Running the original family farm gives John first-hand knowledge of the day-to-day challenges farmers face, as well as allowing him to keep his eye firmly on the market and factors affecting trade.
Greg Pickstock
Greg Pickstock is our founder and managing director. Having grown up on the family beef farm, his passion for advancing the industry has fuelled his career to date.
With over 25 years’ experience within the meat sector, today Greg heads-up the multi-million-pound beef processing business based in Shropshire and oversees each stage of the operation, from procurement to sales.
Enduring relationships across the supply chain, from farmers through to retailers and the food service sector, has allowed Pickstock Telford to grow significantly following investment in a new state-of-the art processing facility in 2014.
Greg is not only dedicated to producing a wide range of high-quality beef products to meet market demand but has also invested heavily in our rearing and finishing centre of excellence at Brongain Farm.
Rowan Pickstock
At the heart of the Pickstock enterprise is Brongain Farm, a centre of excellence which is headed up by Rowan Pickstock.
With an aim to employ the most sustainable methods of production the 900-head beef unit enables us to make tried and tested recommendations to our supply base.
Holding day-to-day responsibility for Brongain Farm, Rowan oversees the entire process from rearing through to finishing and is committed to trialling the latest advancements in technology, with a passion for data capture and analysis.
He also heads up the unit’s genetic programme, and his ambition is to produce a consistent animal that meets consumer demands while offering improved financial viability for farmers.
